What is Forgiveness Therapy?
Forgiveness, in a nutshell, is about letting go.
Holding on to grudges can limit future possibilities, while releasing the past opens the door to new opportunities.
Throughout life, we all encounter situations where others hurt us—emotionally, physically, or in other ways. Common responses to these experiences include anger, resentment, bitterness, and sometimes a desire for revenge as a way to restore our sense of well-being. These emotions don’t just affect our mental state—they can have a profound impact on our physical health as well. (Read more)
Forgiveness Therapy is designed to support individuals who have been wronged—or are currently experiencing harm—in releasing the burden of negative emotions. This process empowers them to move forward in a healthier, more balanced way. We understand that forgiveness can be challenging and, at times, painful. That’s why our approach is to walk alongside our clients, guiding them through each step with compassion and practical tools we've developed to make the journey manageable.
We incorporate industry-recognised assessments at both the beginning and end of the programme, allowing clients to see measurable improvements in their emotional and physiological well-being. (See below for more details.) You can also read client testimonials.
Forgiveness Therapy was successfully trialled in collaboration with a local GP surgery and other community agencies.
See below for the statistics of our first 13 clients.
